Markus “Notch” Persson zaslužan je za jedan od najvećih gaming naslova svih vremena, Minecraft. Persson je uzeo podugačku pauzu od 13 godina, ali se sada oglasio na svojem X profilu. Notch trenutačno radi na svojoj novoj igri, koja nema nikakvu poveznicu s Minecraftom. Riječ je o roguelike naslovu iz trećeg lica, za kojeg Persson vjeruje da neće dobiti preveliku ljubav od svojih fanova. Upravo iz tog razloga, spreman je napraviti Minecraft 2. S obzirom na to da je prava na Minecraft prodao Microsoftu, Notch može samo napraviti “duhovnog nasljednika”, a tako se i sam izrazio u svojoj objavi. Cijelu objavu možete pročitati u nastavku.
Prva verzija Minecrafta izašla je 2009. godine, nakon toga, Notch je 2011. godine prepustio kreativnu kontrolu nad Minecraftom studiju Mojang, kojeg je on osnovao. Konačno, 2014. godine Notch je prodao franšizu, te je napustio tvrtku. 2025. godina započinje odlično, njegovim povratkom i potencijalnim Minecraft 2!
