WWE 2K25 je konačno izbacio svoj prvi DLC paket pod nazivom New Wave. New Wave donosi Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, Motor City Machine Guns i misteriozna slavna osoba koju iz 2K-a još nisu otkrili. Inače ovo je tek početak DLC sadržaja koji dolazi u WWE 2K25, sve do izlaska WWE 2K26 dobit ćemo još 15 novih hrvača i hrvačica.
Igračima je i dalje najzanimljivija misteriozna osoba koja tek treba doći, ali neki igrači su poprilično frustrirani zbog ovog. Naime, na službenom X profilu developeri su rekli da će petu osobu otkriti u nadolazećim tjednima. Osim što igračima nije jasno kada će točno New Wave DLC paket biti potpun, postoji mogućnost da će zbog ovoga svi drugi DLC-ovi biti pomjereni. Sljedeći DLC paket, Dunk and Destruction, trebao bi biti objavljen 25. lipnja i sadrži čak tri neimenovana NBA igrača. Mišljenja oko ubacivanja drugih sportaša u WWE 2K25 su podijeljena, ali ja osobno nikada nisam imao problema s ovim.
Za kraj treba reći kako su developeri najavili Chapter 2 koji bi uskoro trebao doći u WWK 2K25 The Island.
