Netflix je objavio kako će The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep biti objavljen 11. veljače 2025. godine. Riječ je o dugometražnom animeu s Dougom Cockleom koji ponavlja svoju ulogu Geralta od Rivije. Ovo je adaptacija koja se vremenski nalazi između pete i šeste epizode prve sezone Netflixovog Witchera. Povodom toga, vraćaju se likovi kao što su Yennefer i Jaskier, ali i Henry Cavill, koji je prije glumio Geralta od Rivije.
Već sam spomenuo povratak Douga Cocklea u The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep, ali ovo nije običan povratak. Cockle se u franšizu vraća nakon gotovo desetljeća. Kultni glasovni glumac bio je i više nego sretan što se može vratiti ulozi Geralta od Rivije nakon što je nedavno priznao kako mi nikada neće biti problem predstavljati slavnog lovca na čudovišta.
The Witcher: Sires of the Deep trajat će 1 sat i 29 minuta, što je ujedno i najduža adaptacija Witchera koja je stigla na male ekrane. Dok CD Projekt nastavlja raditi na sljedećoj Witcher igri, obožavatelji ove franšize mogu koristiti ovaj anime da popune prazninu.
