Pozitivno je da EA ne želi ponoviti tehničku katastrofu koja je bila Battlefield 2042.
Ni jedna informacija vezana za ovaj naslov nije službena, odnosno potvrđena od strane developera. S druge strane, dosta je špekulacija i glasina o svemu što možemo očekivati. Kao prvo, single player kampanja i igrina radnja bi se mogla odvijati u sadašnjosti, samo koju godinu unaprijed. Također, u zadnjih nekoliko dana, na internetu su se pojavile informacije koje govore o potencijalnom Battle Royaleu koji bi trebao biti potpuno besplatan za igranje.
