Five Night at Freddy’s: Into the Pit vas stavlja u ulogu Oswalda, on je čovjek koji živi dosadan život i ništa ga ne usrećuje. Spletom okolnosti, naš Oswald završava u Freddyjevoj pizzeriji gdje mu se kreću događati čudne i jezive stvari. Oswald se zatim na neki neuobičajen način vraća u prošlost i mora preživjeti pet noći u pizzeriji dok ga progone svima već poznate mehaničke životinje.
Kao što ste već mogli pročitati u naslovu, glavna stvar po kojoj je Into the Pit drugačija od bilo kojeg dosadašnjeg Five Night at Freddy’s naslova je dvodimenzionalna izvedba igre. Drugim riječima, nema prvog lica! Osobno smatram da je ovo pozitivno, daje nekakav retro vibe kojeg ne viđamo često u današnjim naslovima. Možda sam samo previše nostalgičan, ali ne mogu dočekati ovaj naslov.
