Konačno smo dočekali najavu novog Mortal Kombat naslova. Omiljeni borilački serijal se vraća na početak uz reboot pod nazivom Mortal Kombat 1.
Trailer je očekivano brutalan, te možemo reći kako nas developeri nisu ni malo razočarali. U njemu vidimo dosta poznatih lica. Neka od njih su Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Kitana, Mileena… Čak smo u nekim trenutcima vidjeli njihove brutalne poteze i potencijalne fatalityje. Uz to sve, ekipa iz NetherRealma nam je pripremila neočekivane zaplete i preokrete u rivalstvima likova, kao i u njihovim pozadinskim pričama. I da, glavni negativac će biti Shang Tsung.
Jedna od novosti u Mortal Kombat 1 su Kameo borci. Ovaj sustav je već viđen u nekim drugim borilačkim igrama. Ukratko, Kameo borci su partneri koji mogu pomagati tijekom meča. Pretpostavljamo da će to povezati s pričom, pa ako u jednom trenutku budu dva ili više borca zajedno moći će si pomagati.
Cross-play će doći malo kasnije, odnosno nekad poslije lansiranja. Rollback netcode, vrlo važna tehnologija za multiplayer, će se koristiti odmah čim Mortal Kombat 1 izađe.
Mortal Kombat 1 igrat ćemo 19.09. na svim aktualnim konzolama i PC-ju. Raniji pristup igri, 14.09., bit će moguć kupnjom Kollector’s Edition verzije igre. Uz standardnu verziju igre i Kollector’s Edition verziju, možete se odlučiti i za Premium izdanje igre. Za kraj ćemo spomenut cijene, standardno izdanje će koštati 80 eura na konzolama, dok će na PC-ju biti nešto jeftinija, odnosno 70 eura.
