Minecraft film je upravo dobio najavu te mu je predviđen izlazak za 2025. godinu.
Minecraft film je nova live-action adaptacija Warner Bros. Picturesa i Legendary Picturesa, a kao redatelj bit će potpisan Jared Hess. Bit će to tako prva filmska adaptacija Minecrafta, najprodavanije igre svih vremena. U glumačkom sastavu pronašla su se imena poput Jasona Momoe i Jack Blacka, Emme Myers, Danielle Brooks, Sebastiana Eugene Hansena i Jennifer Coolidge. Film će premjerno biti prikazan u kinima u 2. travnja 2025. godine.
Najava filma je prikaz svijeta tematike Minecrafta s hiperrealističnim vizualima. Sve je kockasto, kao što bi i trebalo biti, ali same teksture blokova su poprilično realne, kao da ste uključili shadere. Fanovi će moći vidjeti predivnu floru i faunu Minecraft svijeta, dok se glumci bore protiv opasnih čudovišta, poput Piglina i Zombija.
Detalj koji nam je upao u oko je Crafting Table i dio radnje filma koji će biti posvećen njemu. Scena nam prikazuje glumce koji će moći od dostupnih materijala moći napraviti što god požele.
Radnja samog filma uvodi nas u svijet Minecrafta, svijet u kojemu kreativnost ne pomaže samo pri craftanju, nego je ona potrebna za preživljavanje.
