Inače, Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra je smještena u okupiranom Parizu tijekom Drugog svjetskog rata i prati priču u kojoj se udružuju Steve Rogers (Captain America) i Azzuri (Black Panther) u borbi protiv zloglasne organizacije – Hydra. Developeri obećavaju duboko narativno iskustvo s intenzivnim borbama i naprednom tehnologijom koja su djela Wakande i Howarda Starka. Drugim riječima, Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra bi trebala biti prava poslastica za sve ljubitelje Marvela.
Treba napomenuti kako je ovo debitantski naslov Skydance Games studija, a projekt predvodi Amy Hennig, poznata po svojem radu na Uncharted serijalu. Osim Amy, na Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra radi i producent Julian Beak iz Electronic Artsa.
