Jedan od najočekivanijih trenutaka ovogodišnjeg San Diego Comic-Cona 2025 dolazi iz LEGO svijeta. Na jednom od štandova, posjetitelji su imali priliku prvi put vidjeti potpuno novi LEGO Game Boy set, vjerno izrađen u omjeru 1:1. Set donosi dozu nostalgije, a ukrašen je s hrpom precinzih detalja koji oživljavaju jedan od najvažnijih uređaja u povijesti gaminga.
LEGO Game Boy set sastoji se od 421 dijela, a donosi sve klasične elemente originalne konzole. +Control Pad, tipke A i B, START/SELECT tipke, kotačiće za kontrast i glasnoću, pa čak i otvor za Game Pak kasete. I da, uz set dolaze i dvije legendarne igraće kasete – The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening i Super Mario Land. Također, zaslon Game Boya može prikazivati klasični Nintendov start screen ili jedan od dva alternativna prikaza ovisno o umetnutoj kaseti.
Globalno lansiranje LEGO Game Boy seta planirano je za 1. listopad 2025. godine. Nažalot, za sada je poznata samo cijena s američkog tržišta od 60 USD, ali vjerujem kako će set kod nas koštati 50-ak eura. Za mnoge je Game Boy bio prvi doticaj s videoigrama, pa tako možemo reći da je ovo set koji spaja ljubitelje retro gaminga i LEGO-a, te mislim kako će se pronaći na mnogim policama diljem svijeta.
