Valve je vrlo pametno sve ključne elemente posudio of Faceita te ih implementirao u svoju novu igru. Mnogi su mislili kako će Faceit zbog toga past u drugi plan ili se skroz ugasiti, ali oni su najavili da će pratiti trendove. Faceit je upalio svoje CS2 servere i ušao u fazu Limited Accessa.
Jedna od legendi Counter-Strikea kennyS nahvalio je kako se Faceit serveri čine boljima za igru nego službeni Valve serveri. Večina igrača misli da je to zbog toga što je Faceit ostao na 128 tick serverima umjesto da koristi “sub-tick” sustav kojeg je Valve implementirao. Iz Faceita nisu htjeli komentirati za koji sustav su se odlučili. Čak je i kennyS na kraju izjavio kako nije siguran je li promjena zaista tolika ili je sve samo placebo.
