Prošloga tjedna s 24. na 25. lipnja hakerska grupa LockBit 3.0 sprovela je hakerski napad gdje je glavna meta bio bolnički sustav KBC Zagreb.
Poznata stranica HackManac koja se bavi proučavanjem ovakvih zbivanja i do sada je pouzdano prenosilo informacije o sličnim događajima tvrdi kako su odgovorni za to ruski hakeri iz grupe LockBit 3.0. Njihova filozofija temelji se da koristeći ransomware uđu u sustav, ukradu podatke te ih ne objave. Oni daju rok vlasniku podataka baš kao KBC-u Zagreb da plate cijenu za ono što im je ukradeno.
Cijena koju bi KBC Zagreb trebao platiti da sačuva svoje podatke nije poznata, ali je poznat rok plačanja. On je postavljen na 18. srpnja, a ukoliko se uvjeti koje je postavila hakerska skupina ne ispune internet će uživati u podacima donatora organa, popisa djelatnika, medicinskih kartona, doktorskih istraživanja i mnogo drugih.
Ravnateljstvo KBC-a i dalje se nije oglasilo na ovu temu dok je ministar unutarnjih poslova Davor Božinović rekao kako ne zna da se traži otkupnina te da će javnost biti pravovremena obavještena o radu tajnih službi.
