Cate Blanchett će utjeloviti lik Lilith, Rolanda će glumiti Kevin Hart, Jamie Lee Curtis je Tannis, a Claptrapu glas daje Jack Black. Nekima je ovo već dovoljno da donesu odluku o gledanju ovog nadolazećeg kino hita.

Lilith se vraća u potrazi za svojom kćerkom, tijekom svoje potrage sklada pakt s Rolandom. Kroz film se još trebaju pojaviti likovi kao što su Tiny Tina, Krieg, znanstvenica Tannis, a skupini se priključio i Claptrap.
Nadamo se kako će film imati onaj šarm koji imaju Borderlands igre, a premijera filma je zakazana za 09.08. ove godine.
