DreamWorksov How to Train Your Dragon postat će live-action film s Masonom Thamesom i Gerardom Butlerom u glavnim ulogama. Prvi trailer ne traje dugo, samim time ni ne pokazuje puno, ali vidjeli smo nekoliko prepoznatljivih scena iz animiranog filma. Jedna od tih je Hiccupov (Mason Thames) ulazak u arenu gdje se vikinzi bore protiv zmajeva. Naravno ne možemo ne spomenuti ikoničnu scenu u kojoj Hiccup mora ubiti Toothlessa, no on to ne može učiti i tako njih dvojica postaju prijatelji. Nakon trailera jasno je kako je ovo svojevrsni remake prvog animiranog filma.
How to Train Your Dragon imao je tri dijela, prema mnogim kritičarima previše, a to se da zaključiti i po ocjenama koje su filmovi dobili. Svaki novi nastavak u ovom serijalu bio je ocijenjen nižom ocjenom od prethodnika. Pa je tako How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World iz 2019. godine dobio tek 7,4/10. Bilo kako bilo, prvi trailer za live-action How to Train Your Dragon izgleda jako zanimljivo, a film ćemo gledati negdje u 2025. godini.
