Sony je odlučio popustiti PC igračima. Igrači na PC-ju ipak neće trebati imati PlayStation Network račun kako bi igrali Helldivers 2.
Nakon što je stigla obaveza povezivanja Steam i PSN računa igrači su ostavili preko 215 tisuća negativnih recanzija za igru. Igrači su se uvelike bunili iako to za neke druge naslove nije bio slučaj. Kada je riječ o Ubisoftovim ili Rockstarovim naslovima svi su navikli da pored Steama moraju imati još jedan dodatni račun, ali i aplikaciju.
PlayStation se zahvalio na podršci igrača vezano za Helldivers 2 te rekao kako još uvijek uče što PC igrače najviše vole te da su im povratne informacije korisne. Sada je vrijeme da vidimo što će biti s drugim PlayStation naslovima koji će izaći i na PC. Je li ovo smjer u kojem će PlayStation ići zahvaljujući borbi krajnjih korisnika ili će ipak ustrajati u tome da svi imamo PSN račune.
