Još u rujnu su članovi SAG-AFTRA svojim čelnicima dali podršku od 98,3% za štrajk ako ne dođe do novog sporazuma s djelatnicima u gaming industriji. Djelatnici traže veće plaće te obećanje da im AI neće oduzeti posao.
Jučer su neke veće gaming kompanije uključujući i Take-Two (izdavač GTA igara) imale sastanak sa svojim ulagačima. Sastanak je odma bio organiziran nakon Rockstarove najave za trailer GTA 6 što je dosta poboljšalo raspoloženje na sastanku.
Na sastanku je glavno pitanje bilo: Što će biti ako glasovni i motion glumci pokrenu štrajk? Hoće li to usporiti razvoj GTA 6? Zelnick iz Take-Two je odgovorio: “Optimistični smo, jako cijenimo sav talent i izvrsne radne odnose koje gajimo s njima te se radujemo postizanju sporazuma koji će svima ići u korist.”
Zelnick tvrdi da čak i da ne dođu do sporazuma da je Rockstar siguran. Dokaz tomu je da cijena dionice Take-Two raste što su također primjetili i ulagači.
