Leaker na X-u tvrdi kako su informaciju prenijela nekolicina developera iz dva razvojna studija koja trenutno rade na igri. Iako smo nedavno dobili vijesti kako je Take Two Interactive sve svoje investitore obavijestio da je plan igru objaviti u jesen 2025.
Također još jedanput se prenosi vijest kako nećemo tako brzo GTA VI zaigrati na PC-ju. Isti leaker je prenio vijest kako je plan PC verziju izdati tek nakon godinu do godinu i pol dana nakon izlaska igre na konzole. Vijest i dalje nije potvrđena od strane Rockstara ili Take Two Interactiva, ali je vrlo moguće jer se i ranije pričalo o potencijalnoj odgodi.
