Osim što bi trebala biti revolucionarna igra kada je u riječ količina sadržaja, realističnost, grafika i svi ostali bitni parametri za svakog gamera mogla bi postaviti novi standard kada je u pitanju cijena. Najskuplji naslovi danas po izlasku koštaju 80 eura, a ponekad se i ta brojka pređe ako je riječ o prestižnijem izdanju. S obzirom na uložena sredstava u razvoj GTA 6 Rockstar odnosno Take-Two bi se mogao oprobati u tome da podigne ljestvicu.
Prema nekim analitičarima cijena GTA 6 mogla bi biti okruglih 100 eura čime bi postala prva igra koja je imala troznamenkastu cijenu. Zbog ogromnog interesa cijena vrlo vjerojatno ne bi utjecala na prodaju, a time bi se olakšalo drugim izdavačima da cijene svojih AAA naslova podignu još više.
