Gillbert: Guardian of the Grotto je nadolazeća avanturistička platformerska igra razvojnog studija Mantra Games smještena u propadajući vodeni svijet kojim vlada zli Broctopus i njegovi sljedbenici. Igrači preuzimaju ulogu Gillberta, junaka koji koristi moć vode kako bi se suprotstavio neprijateljima i spasio svoje prijatelje.
Igra nudi precizne platformerske kontrole i omogućuje otključavanje različitih oružja poput Fish Bone Sword i Orb Casting. Tijekom avanture, igrači će otkrivati nove sposobnosti kao što su dvostruki skok, zračni nalet, udarci, klizanje i plivanje. Cilj je spasiti zarobljene prijatelje skrivene diljem različitih svjetova, suočiti se s više od 20 vrsta neprijatelja i sudjelovati u borbama sa šefovima.
Svijet u kojem se odvija akcija sastoji se od raznolikih okruženja, uključujući “Ruined Ruins”, “Dusty Desert”, “Gem Caves”, “Freeze the Day”, “Water World” i “Brocto’s Lair”. Gameplay kombinira podvodne i nadvodne platformerske izazove, pružajući igračima bogato iskustvo istraživanja i borbe.
