Na The Game Awards 2025 Endnight je iznenadio publiku najavom nadolazećeg Forest 3, novog nastavka popularnog survival-horor serijala koji ovaj put ide u potpuno neočekivanom smjeru. Trailer otkriva snažne sci-fi elemente, nešto što do sada nismo povezivali s ovim serijalom.
Video započinje padom svemirskog broda na Zemlju, a ubrzo se otkriva postapokaliptični svijet prepun mutanata koji djeluju razvijenije i opasnije nego ikad prije. Glavni lik je astronaut opremljen robotskom rukom i naprednom tehnologijom za skeniranje okoline, što sugerira značajne promjene u gameplayu. Iako konkretni mehanizmi još nisu prikazani, jasno je da Forest 3 donosi raznovrsnije neprijatelje i širi spektar prijetnji.
Iako sci-fi elementi djeluju radikalno, oni se nadovezuju na postojeću priču serijala.
