Nakon što je Football Manager 25 završio s crvenim kartonom i službeno je otkazan, Sports Interactive se vraća i to s prvim teaserom za Football Manager 26. U kratkom videu objavljenom u srijedu, razvojni tim nam je pokazao djelić poboljšanog Match Day iskustva, što bi trebao biti jedan od glavnih fortea nove igre u serijalu. Na kraju trailera stoji i natpis: “Match Day First Look – coming soon”, što znači da nas detaljniji prikaz čeka vrlo brzo.
Football Manager 26 će biti prva igra iz serijala razvijena na Unity engineu, što bi trebalo donijeti znatno bolju grafiku i prezentaciju, te općenito imerzivnije iskustvo vođenja kluba. Prema riječima razvojnog tima, cilj je pružiti “najimpresivnije i vizualno najbogatije Football Manager iskustvo do sada”.
Sports Interactive obećava da će igrače “dovesti bliže srcu prekrasne igre nego ikad prije” i da će potencijal za kreiranje priča u igri biti potpuno redefiniran. Podsjetimo, Football Manager 25 je trebao biti tranzicijski naslov koji uvodi Unity, no razvoj je nailazio na probleme sve dok igra nije u potpunosti otkazana. Sada Football Manager 26 preuzima sve planirane inovacije i nadam se kako će to izgledati dobro.
