Foamstars izgleda kao pravi party shooter koji je bio inspiriran Nintendovim Splatoonom. Igra je najavljena po prvi put prošle godine, a igra je izazvala većinom pozitivne reakcije igrača. Ekipa iza Foamstarsa, Square Enix, zamislili su ovu pucačinu kao 4v4.
Osim samog pogleda na gameplay, trailer je otkrio i datum izlaska. 06.02. i to ekskluzivno na PlayStation 4 i 5, gdje će sigurno ostati do ljeta ove godine. Kasnije, Foamstars možda postane dostupan za neke druge platforme. Velik broj igrala će vrlo brzo saznati koliko je ovaj party shooter zabavan, jer će svi PlayStation Plus pretplatnici dobiti ovaj naslov u sklopu mjesečne PS Plus ponude. Pretplatnici će moći igrati Foamstars sve do početka ožujka, točnije 04.03.
Po forumima i društvenim mrežama su se oglasili ljudi koji su već zaigrali Foamstars, te su se osvrnuli na to da igra jako podsjeća na Splatoon. Igrači tvrde kako nije kompletna kopija, da Foamstars ima kraće staze, no pravo pitanje je hoće li privući i zadržati igrače. Ostaje nam čekanje 06.02. i testiranje ovog party shootera.
