Najveći razlog je broj dnevnih igrača FIFA Ultimate Teama, koji je porastao za čak 15%. Dosta je to čudno, s obzirom na to da u rasponu od četvrtog do sedmog mjeseca Ultimate Team polagano umire. No, sigurno dio zasluga za taj porast možemo pripisati činjenici da se FIFA našla na EA Play i Game Passu.
Najveći porast je zapravo zabilježen na mobilnim platformama. FIFA Mobile je u tri mjeseca privukla 65 milijuna novih igrača, što je ogromna brojka za jednu mobilnu igru.
