Elder Scrolls 6 najavljen je još 2018. godine na E3 sajmu. Bila je to scena koju su svi čekali na Bethesdinoj prezentacija. Kratak teaser zagolicao je maštu svih prisutnih, ali i ogromnog broja gamera koji su prezentaciju pratili online.
Prema internim dokumentima Microsofta ZeniMax, studio koji je radio TESO. Online inačicu Elder Scrollsa trebo bi izadati 2, a potom ispravljeno na 3 igre za koju se jedna smatra da je zapravo online verzija Elder Scrollsa 6. Također i dalje postoji mogućnost da će igra izaći i na PlayStation, ali Microsoft trenutno planira izdavanje isključivo na svoje platforme odnosno Xbox i PC.
Izvori iz Bethesde također nam tvrde kako će igra biti “raj za modere” te da će imati pregršt mogućnost u tzv. vanilla izdanju. Nadamo se samo kako nećemo čekati predugo da ponovno zaigramo The Elder Scrolls.
