Kako se saznaje iz neslužbenog dokumenta od 231 stranice, Dying Light je imao još jako puno sadržaja koji je izrezan iz igre. Ostaje nepoznato kako je ovaj dokument “pobjegao” iz studija, no on je sada dostupan svima. Dying Light 2 je unatoč svemu na kraju ispao dosta dobra igra, međutim da je dodan sav ovaj sadržaj koji su si developeri zacrtali, taj bi naslov bio igran i dalje.
Iz dokumenta se saznaje kako je Dying Light trebao imati još nekoliko regija koje bi mogli istraživati. Osim regija, iz igre su izrezani neki dijelovi priče, samim time i neki likovi, oružja, oprema, pa čak i neke gameplay mehanike. Rezanje svog tog sadržaj ne čudi nas previše jer ako se sjećate Dying Light 2 je bio nekoliko puta odgođen. To sada ima dosta smisla jer su developeri vjerojatno izbacivali sav taj sadržaj kako bi Dying Light 2 uopće ugledao svjetlo dana. Sada vidimo da su developeri bili malo preambiciozni pri kreiranju ovog naslova.
Poljski studio Techland koji je radio na Dying Light igrama kupljen je od strane kineskog studija Tencenta. Ubrzo nakon kupnje od strane Tencenta u Dying Light 2 dodane su mikrotransakcije što je jako naljutilo igrače. Ako vas zanima cijeli dokument njega možete pronaći ovdje.
