Peacock je izbacio službeni trailer za 2. sezonu serije Twisted Metal. Ova akcijska komedija, temeljena na kultnoj PlayStation franšizi, vraća se krajem srpnja i izgleda još luđe nego prva sezona. 31. srpnja izlaze prve tri epizode, a nove epizode izlaze svakog četvrtka i tako sve do 28. kolovoza.
U novoj sezoni, nakon velikog otkrića iz finala prve sezone, John i Quiet ulaze u smrtonosni Twisted Metal turnir kojeg organizira Calypso. Za sve koji ne znaju, riječ je o brutalnom demolition derbyju koji najčešće bude upravljan od strane već spomenutog Calypsa. Dok se bore za preživljavanje protiv novih i poznatih protivnika, uključujući ludog Sweet Tootha, John se ponovno susreće sa svojom davno izgubljenom sestrom – Dollface.
Druga sezona serije Twisted Metal vraća Anthonyja Mackieja kao John Doea, Stephanie Beatriz kao Quiet, te Joea Seanoau u ulozi Sweet Tootha, dok Will Arnett ponovno posuđuje glas legendarnom klaunu koji vozi svoj ikonični kamion za sladoled. Ulogu misterioznog Calypsa preuzima Anthony Carrigan, a u sezoni se pojavljuju i nova lica poput Richarda de Klerka, Patty Guggenheim i Tiane Okoye.
Ako niste preveliki ljubitelj dugačkih epizoda, Twisted Metal bi mogla biti prava serija za vas. Epizode traju po pola sata i prepune su nasilja, akcije, ali i humora. Sve u svemu, riječ je o vrlo zanimljivoj adaptaciji PlayStation klasika koju su osmislili Rhett Reese i Paul Wernick, dok je scenarij pisao Michael Jonathan Smith.
