Amazon Prime je na Gamescom Opening Night Liveu otkrio prvi trailer za drugu sezonu Fallout serije, a najveće iznenađenje je povratak u legendarni New Vegas.
Prva sezona, koja je debitirala u travnju 2024. godine, oduševila je kritiku i publiku, a nastavak obećava još veći i ambiciozniji prikaz postapokaliptičnog svijeta. Trailer pokazuje kako će se radnja odvijati diljem Mojave pustinje, dok se priče glavne trojke, Maximusa, Ghoula i Lucy , dodatno razvijaju i isprepliću. Za mnoge fanove serijala, Fallout: New Vegas iz 2010. i dalje je najbolja igra franšize, pa povratak u taj setting podiže očekivanja na novu razinu. Nova sezona obećava dublje likove, brutalnije sukobe i još intenzivniju atmosferu Wastelanda.
Osim serije, ranije su procurile glasine kako je u razvoju više Fallout projekata, uključujući mogući remaster Fallouta 3 ili next-gen nadogradnju Fallouta 76, no ništa od toga još nije potvrđeno.
