S druge strane igra nije bila dostupna na PlayStation 5 i Xbox Series konzolama. Barem je to tako bilo do danas, jer tijekom dana Dragon Ball FighterZ dolazi na current gen konzole.
Ovaj fighting naslov moći ćete zaigrati s novom grafikom, s pomoću koje igra izgleda puno bolje. Također, Dragon Ball FighterZ, će tehnički biti dosta stabilnija igra. Ako ste već vlasnik ove igre, ali imate PlayStation 4 ili Xbox One verziju, nemate brige. Naime, iz Bandai Namca su odlučili kako možete samo besplatno nadograditi igru na current gen verziju. Osim ovog velikog “update” za igru, Dragon Ball FighterZ od sada ima i novi story mode.
