Nova Astro igra je u razvoju u Sonyju od strane Asobi tima. Najavu ove igre možemo očekivati kroz sljedeća dva tjedna. Prema pouzdanom leakeru, billbil-kunu, igra će se zvati Astro Bot, a leaker također potvrđuje period od dva tjedna za najavu ove igre. Osim toga, barem dio igre bi trebao biti smješten u pustinji. Billbil-kun dodaje i kako se novi lik pojavljuje u Astro Botu, te kako on dijeli dosta sličnosti s našim dragim Astrom.
Službeni datum izlaska igra i platforme na kojima će ista biti dostupna još nisu poznate. Međutim, billbil-kun vjeruje kako se radi o ekskluzivi za PlayStation 5, a ne za PS VR2. Podsjećamo kako je posljednja igra, Astro’s Playroom, objavljena 2020. godine i bila je unaprijed instalirana na svakom PlayStation 5. Igra je služila kao besplatna tehnološka demonstracija za novu Sonyjevu konzolu, te za njihov novi DualSense kontroler.
