Borderlands 4 vodi nas s planeta Pandora na novi planet, Kairos. Odmah na početku članka trebamo napomenuti kako je ovo najambicioznija Borderlands igra do sada. Tako barem kažu! Sigurno se pitate zašto uopće odlazimo na Kairos, a razlog je jednostavan, postoji jedan diktator, The Timekeeper, čijoj vladavini mora doći kraj. Borderlands 4 će nas upoznati s četiri nova Vault Huntera, za koje developeri tvrde da imaju najraznolikije vještine u ovom serijalu.
Gearbox je spomenuo kako će Borderlands 4 imati neprekidno putovanje među raznim zonama, a osim toga imat ćemo i nove načine putovanja. Na primjer, Borderlands 4 će imati vozilo koje možete pozvati bilo gdje na mapi. Ukratko, to su sve novosti koje će Borderlands 4 donijeti u ovaj serijal, ostatak mehanika se nije mijenjao.
Gearbox planira izlazak Borderlands 4 za 2025. godinu, ali trenutačno nemamo okvirno razdoblje izlaska. Ovaj naslov ćemo zaigrati na PC, PlayStation 5 i Xbox Series platformama.
