Netflix je konačno otkrio prvi isječak iz nadolazeće 4. sezone The Witchera s Liamom Hemsworthom u ulozi Geralta od Rivije. Osim toga, dobili smo i datum izlaska, nakon više od dvije godine čekanja, novu sezonu The Witchera gledamo 30. listopada, ekskluzivno na Netflixu.
Henry Cavill, koji je utjelovio Geralta u prve tri sezone, oprostio se od uloge krajem treće sezone, što je izazvalo burnu reakciju među fanovima. Njegov nasljednik je Liam Hemsworth, mlađi brat Chrisa Hemswortha, a reakcije na prve kadrove koje smo dobili su i više nego pozitivne. Naravno trebat će neko vrijeme da se gledatelji naviknu da vise nema Cavilla, ali mislim da je uloga Geralta od Rivije u sigurnim rukama.
U prvom isječku vidimo Liama Hemswortha u borbi protiv Wraitha, jednog od zahtjevnijih protivnika u Witcherovom univerzumu. Scene otkrivaju brzu borbu, a na prvu se čini kako Liam neće govoriti onako hrapavim glasom kao što je to činio Henry. Fanovi su i tu imali nešto za reći, pa su tako Hemsworthovu verziju Geralta usporedili s interpretacijom Michała Żebrowskog iz poljske adaptacije The Witchera pod nazivom The Hexer.
Netflix je već potvrdio kako će se serija završiti s petom sezonom, što znači da nam ostaju još dva finalna poglavlja Witcher sage. Četvrta sezona bit će ključna u tome hoće li publika prihvatiti Hemswortha kao novog Geralta i nastaviti pratiti ovaj zanimljiv svijet čudovišta, magije i trunke politike.
