Nakon zatvorene bete koju je Blizzard organizirao u prosincu prošle godine koja donosi prologue i prvi act igre 24.3. dolazi nam i otvorena beta. Dostupni dio igre donosi oko 10 sati sadržaja.
Otvorena beta biti će dostupna PC igračima kao i vlasnicima konzola trenutne, ali i prethodne generacije. Ukoliko se pak prije otvorene bete odlučite za prednaruždbu igre pristup otvorenoj beti imati će te od 17. do 19. ožujka dok će se ostali morat strpjeti do 24. ožujka.
