Creative Assembly nisu impresionirali igrom Total War: Pharaoh, koja je zbog brojnih kritika dobila sniženje, a igrači dobijaju novac nazad.
Developeri su na igri radili pet godina, no nažalost ni tih 5 godina nije bilo dovoljno da igra zadovolji igrače. Igra je “totalni promašaj” te ima pretežito negativne ocijene na Steamu. Igrači su čak došli do te granice da su se vratili na staru igru Total War: Rome II koji je star 10 godina.
Međutim developeri ne odustaju i žele ispraviti svoje greške. Prva promijena je bila sniženje cijene sa 60 eura na 40. Developeri su čak dogovorili sa Steamom da tu razliku cijene vrate igračima na njihov Steam wallet, odnosno svatko ko je igru kupio za 60 eura će dobiti 20 eura na svoj Steam Wallet.
Osim toga čak je i planirani DLC za sljedeću godinu koji se trebao platiti na kraju postao besplatno ažuriranje za sve koji posjeduju igru. “Ispračavamo se za krive korake koje smo učinili. Pogreške u Total Waru su dijeljena odgovornost svih voditelja franšize i premda se možda ne čini tako – slušamo vas. Znamo da imamo puno posla za odraditi i jedno pismo nije dokaz da će u budućnosti biti bolje. Morat ćete vidjeti prije nego u nju povjerujete.” obratili su se developeri svim igračima.
