Prvi developeri koji su postali svjesni tog problema su THQ Nordic. Ova ekipa austrijskih izdavača igara odlučila je svoj Alone in the Dark prebaciti za prvi mjesec 2024. godine. Alone in the Dark je horor avantura čiji su developeri poznati po naslovima kao što su Destroy All Humans! 1 i 2. Novi datum izlaska ove igre zakazan je za 16.01.2024.
Alone in the Dark je spremna za izlazak, no developeri ne žele da se njihov rad zasjeni drugim udarnim naslovima. Pametan je ovo potez developera jer dodatno vrijeme već gotovoj igri ne može štetiti. Vrlo je vjerojatno da će do samog datuma izlaska igra biti u savršenom stanju i spremna za igrače.
