Crash Team Rumble je naslov koji je izašao u ljeto 2023. godine, no malo je reći da se nije proslavio. Nažalost, igra nije uspjela opstati ni godinu dana na tržištu, a mi već dobivamo posljednji update za istu. Također, ukidaju se mikrotransakcije unutar Crash Team Rumblea. Jučer je pušten posljednji update, a nakon njega igra će se moći igrati, no neće više dobivati novi sadržaj. Developeri su odlučili dati igračima tri sezone Battle Passa, razne event nagrade, te čak 104 nova itema koji su se prije mogli samo kupiti novcem.
Sve ovo nam apelira na veliki neuspjeh ovog naslova. Crash Team Rumble se jako teško mogao probiti na online multiplayer scenu, konkurencija je tu jako jaka. Developerima nije uspio potez da se infiltriraju u druge gaming žanrove, tako da vjerojatno to više neće ni pokušavati. Ono što je igru “ubilo” su njene mikrotransakcije i činjenica nije bila free-to-play. Naravno da je bilo vrlo malo zainteresiranih igrača za takav naslov. Svakako treba napomenuti odlazak Toys for Bob iz Activision Blizzarda i Microsofta tako da se ne zna što će biti s Crash serijalom u budućnosti.
