Cities: Syklines 2 trebao je već odavno biti prisutan na PlayStation 5 i Xbox Series konzolama, ali developeri nisu stigli pripremiti te inačice igre pa smo ju tako za sada jedino zaigrali putem Steama ili Game Passa.
Developeri kažu kako im je primarni cilj trenutno igru objaviti na konzole, ali to je teško izvesti zbog hardverskih ograničejna. Prema njihovim izjavama tijekom testiranja igre dolazi do pada FPS-a i preopterećenja i CPU-a i GPU-a što znači da moraju znatno spustiti razinu detalja kako bi igra bila u igrivom stanju. Na optimizaciji će još raditi jer ne žele razinu detelja značajno smanjivati jer ipak je riječ o naslovu iz 2024. godine.
