Nekima je u cilju brže napredovanje u igri i skupljanje XP-a dok je druga skupina kreatori sadržaja koji žele pred svojom publikom izgledati superiornije od ostalih igrača. Ažuriranje na kojem su radili RICOCHET i Treyarch u fokus je stavio upravo takve igrače i sada će biti postavljeni drugačiji pragovi za maksimalni PING što bi trebalo onemogućiti zloupotrebu VPN-a. Također poboljšana je AFK detekcija za igrače koji su farmali XP.
Pitanje se samo postavlja hoće li igrači s nešto lošijom kvalitetom interneta imati problema zbog novopostavljenih pragova iako ne koriste VPN.
