Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II jučer je službeno lansiran, i već je zabilježila najveću igranost od svih Call of Duty igara. Istina je da je MWII imao jednu od najskupljih marketinških kampanja ove godine, ali se to definitivno isplatilo. Na PC-ju u nepuna 24 sata od lansiranja, MWII je zaigralo 238,522 igrača istovremeno. Dakle postavljen je novi rekord igranosti na Steamu, za Call of Duty igru. Doduše to nije samo novi rekord, naime do sada sve Call of Duty igre na Steamu zajedno nisu imale toliki broj aktivnih igrača. Ovo dokazuje koliko su ljubitelji ove franšize čekali na Modern Warfare II.
Activision ne misli ovdje stati jer su našli još jedan razlog da privuku igrače. Tako smo u zadnjih nekoliko tjedana na TikToku mogli vidjeti Landa Norrisa, Jalena Ramseya, Traea Younga, Pete Davidsona, Bukayo Saku i još nekolicinu poznatih osoba kako promoviraju ovaj naslov uz #CODSquadUp. No, ni to nije sve jer ćemo uskoro moći igrati kao Paul Pogba i Neymar Jr. Njih dvojica će biti skinovi za neke od operativaca i vjerujemo kako će se prodavati odvojeno od same igre. Postoji mogućnost da će imate svoje originalne glasove, no još ništa nije potvrđeno.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II je dokaz kako će igrači platiti više za nešto što ih privlači. Igru možete kupiti za 70 eura, što je skuplje od prosjeka cijena igara za PC, no to ju nije spriječilo u obaranju rekorda igranosti u jednom danu. Vjerujemo kako će brojke za Modern Warfare II od sada samo rast.
