Borderlands film u kina stiže ovog petka, 9. kolovoza, no kritičari su ga već imali priliku pogledati i napisali su svoje recenzije na film. Zapravo, u ovom trenutku ne bi pogriješili kada bi rekli da svaki kritičar koji je odgledao Borderlands jednostavno mrzi ovaj film. Na Rotten Tomatoesu film je trenutno ocijenjen s 4 od 100, ne nisam pogriješio dobro ste pročitali, radi se o jednoznamenkastome broju.
Na temelju recenzija koje se mogu pročitati, film je okarakteriziran kao “neinspirativan”, “beživotan” i “katastrofalan”. Film koji je skupio vrlo ozbiljna glumačka imena je ispao velika katastrofa.
