Assassin’s Creed Codename Red je igra čija je radnja smještena u feudalnom Japanu. Na igri će raditi ekipa iz Ubisoft Quebeca, a prema najnovijim informacijama u Codename Redu ćemo birati između dva protagonista. Moći ćemo birati između samuraja i shinobija. Vjeruje se da će oni biti dva glavna lika, nešto slično kao u Assassin’s Creed Odysseyu. Za sada se pretpostavlja da je shinobi ženska osoba dok će samuraj biti muško.
Dosta se priča i o gameplayu Codename Reda. Naime, vjeruje se da će u ovom naslovu šuljanje igrati veliku ulogu. Na to smo već naviknuli od Assassin’s Creed igara, ali Codename Red bi trebao imati dosta noviteta. Neki od njih bi trebali biti skrivanje u travi, skrivanje tijela i čak gašenje bilo kakvih izvora svjetla kako nas protivnici ne bi vidjeli. Nadamo se da će barem neke od ovih stvari biti u igri.
Codename Red se očekuje negdje između 2024. i 2025. godine, ali još uvijek nema službenih detalja o tome. Uskoro nam dolazi AC Mirage koji bi nas trebao pripremiti za sve nadolazeće Assassin’s Creed igre.
