Novi lik ili legenda kako vam je draže naziva se Catalyst, Punim imenom Teressa Smith, Catalyst je defanzivna terraformerica koja uz pomoć ferrofluida ima moć manipulacije terenom. Što se tiće nove mape o njoj još ne znamo ništa osim da će biti smještena “u sjeni Boreasa”, jednog od planeta u Outlandsu. Neki izvori nagađaju da bi nova mapa za sezonu 15 mogla biti Divided Moon.
Od drugih novosti vrijedi spomenuti novi sustav darivanja predmeta. Kao i ostatak igre, sustav darivanja bit će omogućen među različitim platformama. Moći će se dijeliti skinovi za oružja, charmovi i sl. Neće se moći dijeliti Apex Coinsi. Igrači će za korištenje sustava darivanja morati biti minimalno 10. level i moći će poklanjati predmete samo onima koje imaju na listi prijatelja.
