U Londonu je uhićen 17-godišnjak za kojeg se sumnja da je ukrao snimke GTA 6 s Rockstarovih servera. Osim sumnje za krađu snimaka o GTA 6, izgleda da je povezan i s krađom informacija o Uberu. Tinejdžer je uhićen u četvrtak navečer, u mjestu Oxfordshireu. Osumnjičenik se za sada nalazi u pritvoru Gradske policije.
Za uhićenje osumnjičenog 17-godišnjeg hakera zaslužna je policija Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva, dok je dio istrage provodila Britanska jedinica za kibernetički kriminal i FBI. Tinejdžera su zadržali u pritvoru zbog raznih optužbi, uključujući zavjeru o napadu na najmanje dva različita računalna sustava.
Vjeruje se da je 17-godišnjak član skupine hakera pod nazivom “Lapsus$”. Ova skupina hakera navodno je umiješana u visokoprofilne digitalne napade i upade u druge velike tvrtke kao što su Uber, Cisco, Samsung, Microsoft, NVIDIA… Iz Rockstara su se oglasili povodom cijele situacije, te nam poručuju da ovo curenje snimaka neće usporiti proizvodnju igre i da uskoro planiraju otkriti nešto više na službeniji način.
